Julie Hamann is a native of the Shenandoah Valley and received a business degree from Radford University. She is a local property owner of single-family homes and student rentals. She is also a Realtor in the Commonwealth of Virginia and prior to a profession in Real Estate she was the owner of a relocation company in the Richmond, Virginia area. Julie is married with four children and currently resides in Dayton.

Bernard Hamann was born in the Netherlands, and raised in Switzerland, Spain, and Colombia. After receiving a BS in Geology from Radford University he opted for a corporate career in International Sales & Marketing - living and working in England, Mexico, Brazil, and the US. Most recently, he has served as the Global Retail Sales Director with Rosetta Stone. Bernard resides in Dayton with his wife and four children. Owning and managing rental properties since 1997, Bernard understands the complexities of property ownership, and the need to provide quality products and services to both landlord and tenant.

Carlos Olaechea was born in Peru and in 2005 moved to Harrisonburg, Virginia, where he studied at EMU and BRCC. He started his career in real estate when the market was still low and recuperating from the crash. The experience that he got from dealing with foreclosures and market strategies made him learn a lot about the business and made him love what he does. Carlos is well respected by his clients for his professionalism, high ethical standards, honesty and he is always ready to do anything in his power to make sure his clients succeed.

Nicolas was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He moved to the United States in 2000. Nicolas had always been interested in real estate and finally obtained his Realtor license in 2016. His experience in international business makes him a perfect match for investors; his devotion to the customers’ best interests has always left his clients with a positive experience and a great sense of satisfaction. ‘Nico’ (as he is best known), is a dog lover and in his free time, you will see him with Shanti, a rescued black lab mix, whom has been their best companion during the frequent family road trips.

Maggie was born in China and came to the United States when she was an infant. Maggie grew up in New York and Maryland and moved to Harrisonburg in 2008. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from James Madison University majoring in Economics and International Affairs.

When Maggie is not busy, she enjoys hanging out with friends, spending time with her fur baby (yellow lab), hiking, traveling,  and doing snow sports in the winter.

Laura Mello is a native of the Shenandoah Valley and joined the Army as a young adult. After finishing her service to her country, she received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Laura is a local property owner and is also a Realtor in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Laura enjoys spending time with her family outdoors and connecting with her community through real estate.

Niuvys Pluma was born in Cuba and moved to the United States in 2006. The city of Harrisonburg warmly welcomed her along with her family, giving them shelter, jobs, and an opportunity to get an education. Niuvys studied at Eastern Menonnite University where she obtained her teaching credentials and became a PreK-12 language teacher to Harrisonburg City Schools.

Niuvys has paid back to this city by expanding her areas of expertise and helping the community. She also became a medical interpreter facilitating communication between Spanish speaking people and health care providers. She loved giving people a voice, so that they could have access to the right medical care. Now, she wants to continue with her legacy of making people happy and satisfied  by being a realtor.

Jeff was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and moved to the Valley when he was in 5th grade. He attended a small Art School in Raleigh, NC, and earned a bachelors’ degree in Audio Engineering. After college, he moved back to the Valley to be around family. Since then he has broadened his experience and knowledge in many areas, from being a banker, financial advisor, an insurance adjuster, and patent classifier, to getting his Real estate license and becoming a property manager. He has always been interested in Real Estate and learning more about investment properties and has a goal to own his own investment properties in the future. In his free time, Jeff enjoys spending time with friends and family, along with having a passion for outdoor activities such as hunting/fishing, kayaking, skiing, golfing.

Drew is from Staunton VA and moved to Harrisonburg in 2004 to attend James Madison University, where he received a degree in Kinesiology, and never left. He spent 21 years in the food and hospitality business, serving many of them as a Managing Partner for an industry-leading restaurant company. Professionally Drew focuses on facilitating experiences he would expect and building strong relationships with the community.
